ABC Learner's Pencil Lead Refill

It's pretty common for people to refill the lead in the abc Learner's Pencil models 109 and 110 incorrectly. Often, the instruction sheet is lost, and then the new lead just won't stay put.

Here’s how to successfully change the lead:

You have to completely unscrew the leftover lead pieces first (keep twisting until a tiny plastic piece briefly jumps out at the tip—it makes a little click). Then, twist the pencil back about three full rotations. Now, gently push the new lead in. Flip the pencil over to make sure the lead is holding tight. If it is, go ahead and twist it all the way back in
